Rajit Kapur immortalised the literary sleuth on TV and after almost a decade, filmmaker Dibakar Banerjee is bringing the popular character on-screen with Sushant Singh Rajput stepping into the shoes of the detective. The first trailer of the film has already generated the much-needed hype for the thriller that revolves around Byomkesh’s first case which will make or break his career.

Salman Khan as Prem: It all began in 1989 with Salman playing the lead in Sooraj Barjatya’s Maine Pyaar Kiya. The actor played the character named Prem, which fitted perfectly with his chocolate-y looks and lover boy image.
