We bring to you ten of the most coveted Bollywood stars and their educational qualifications.
Shah Rukh Khan
Born and brought up in Delhi, King Khan attended the St. Columba’s School in central Delhi as a kid. He was also awarded the Sword of Honour, the school’s highest award. He went on to pursue Economics from Hansraj College, Delhi University. After his graduation, he attended Jamia Millia Islamia to obtain a masters degree in mass communication, which he could not complete.
The ‘Bhai’ of Bollywood went to Scindia School in Gwalior to complete his primary education. He came back to Mumbai and enrolled in St.Stanislaus High School. He started college at National College, but left without finishing.

Mr. perfectionist of Bollywood never had his heart in studies. He went to Narsee Monjee College, Mumbai, but hardly attended any classes, since he was always interested in dramatics.
The lover boy of Bollywood, Ranbir Kapoor went to Bombay Scottish School in Mumbai for his primary education. He joined HR College in Mumbai to complete his graduation, but left it to pursue film-making and method acting at the School of Visual Arts and the Lee Strasberg Theatre and Film Institute.
Katrina Kaif travelled the world with her mother and siblings while growing up. She never really went to a formal school, but was home schooled, since her family kept shifting base constantly. Kat began modelling at the tender age of fourteen.
Deepika Padukone was born in Copenhagen, Denmark. Her family moved back to India when she was a year old. She attend Sophia High School in Bangalore, and finished her pre-university education at Mount Carmel College. Deepika enrolled at the Indira Gandhi National Open University for a Bachelor of Arts degree in sociology, but later quit it due to scheduling conflicts with her career.

Kareena completed her schooling from Jamnabai Narsee School Mumbai and Welham Girls School, Dehradun. She enrolled in Mithibai College in Mumbai, where she studied for two years before joining a three-month summer course in microcomputers at Harvard University. Catering to her interest in law, she attended Government Law College in Mumbai, but dropped out to pursue acting.
Alia Bhatt who made her debut with Karan Johar’s ‘Student of the Year‘, joined Bollywood as soon as she completed school. Busy with her acting career, she has no time for college, as of now.
