Imran Khan and Avantika Malik Khan
Newly-turned parents, Imran and Avantika, took a long and relaxing babymoon in the UK and Europe. The long holiday started from Christmas, 2013, and lasted till March, 2014. Even before their baby girl was born, Imran became a hands-on father-to-be, who made sure to be by his wife Avantika’s side all the time. The excited Imran was quoted saying, “After marriage you go on a honeymoon, and before a baby is born you go on a babymoon, it is the last holiday before you have a child. It was very relaxing.”
Raj Kundra and Shilpa Shetty
Shilpa Shetty and her industrialist husband Raj Kundra, also went for their babymoon in February 2012. The ‘Shut up and bounce’ girl was all excited, which was evident from her and Raj’s updates on a microblogging website, Twitter. The couple was on their annual ski holiday in the beautiful Switzerland while expecting their first child.
Vivek Oberoi and Priyanka
The Saathiya famed actor Vivek Oberoi, also took a much awaited break from his non-stop work to take his lovely wife Priyanka, on a babymoon to Europe and Bali while she was pregnant. When the couple flew to Europe, they shopped for themselves and also for Vivek’s expecting sister Meghna. The father-to-be had been quoted saying, “I was like a coolie carrying so much of luggage. We bought maternity products, shopped for some cute stuff in neutral pink and blue colours, as we don’t know if the baby will be a boy or a girl. I am super excited to be a father.”
