Ogaan Cancer Foundation invites all conscious individuals to pledge their support by participating in two unique initiatives – Wear Pink to Work Day and Pink Ribbon promotions this month. I pledge to continue making a difference and This 18th October 2011, the Ogaan Cancer Foundation and the ELLE Breast Cancer Campaign kicks off their annual program ‘Wear Pink to Work Day’ (WPTWD)by once again inviting companies to go casual for a cause.The underlying concept behind the program is to encourage individuals to wear a dash of pink, pledging their support towards breast cancer awareness. WPTWD is currently in its third year and has witnessed immense admiration and created awareness about the cause with corporates like Tech Mahindra, Taj Hotels, Jubiliant Foodworks, Hindustan Unilever and HSBC Bank Apart from this, a number of leading lifestyle companies such as Good Earth, Avirate, Allen Solly, Hard Rock Café, Debenhams, Jean Claude Biguine, Tara jewellers Indigo and Neel are offering a special Pink Ribbon inspired collection or service with the aim of raising funds.
A part of the proceeds will then go to the Ogaan Cancer Foundation.
