Bollywood’s glamour has been a perpetual source of magnetic charm for most television actors. While we have examples of TV stars making big in Bollywood in the likes of Shah Rukh Khan, Ayushmann Khurana, Sushant Singh Rajpoot, Vidya Balan, Yami Gautam, Prachi Desai and Aditya Roy Kapoor, there have been others who have not fared so well too. Each year we see an array of televison stars making their Bollywood debut, but very few survive the competition and get lucrative offers after their first film.

Some impressive names from the world of TV are lined up for their film debut, while some have done it already in 2015. Have a look!
Gurmeet Choudhary who became famous as Maan Singh Khurana in daily soap Geet, played antagonist in Khamoshiyan that released this year.
Jennifer is not new to Bollywood and has done many small roles in the B-Town, but she will be launched as the main lead in Kunal Kohli’s Phir Se, in which the director is also making his debut as an actor.
2014 was the year of Kapil Sharma. His Comedy Nights attained new heights of success and he got some lucrative film offers from Bollywood (We all know how he keeps pleading with the directors to cast him in their film as part of his jokes).

He will soon be seen in comedy film Kisse Pyaar Karun where he is rumoured to romance four women.
Karan Singh Grover
This dishy dude of TV made his Bollywood debut opposite Bipasha Basu in Alone. Although the film did not do well at the box office, Karan won rave reviews for his performance.
This dazzling beauty from Pakistan who has made waves with her charming stint in serials like Humsafar and Neeyat is all set to make inroads into Bollywood opposite Shah Rukh Khan in Raees.

Sapna Pabbi of Ghar Aaja Pardesi and 24 fame made her debut this year as Mira in Khamoshiyan. Her next film Sitaron Ki Shaadi is in the making.
