Looks like Big B has brought himself into some deep trouble this time. Superstar Amitabh Bachchan has seemed to be caught in a major legal issue. An US based Sikh Human Rights group filed a complaint against him for his so-called role in the 1984 anti-Sikh riots.
Amitabh is thought to have raised deadly calls along with slogans like “Blood for blood/ The Blood stains of Indira Ji must reach the homes of Sikhs”. This apparent slogan of his is suspected to be the cause of the numerous systematic attacks on innocent Sikhs on October 31, 1984.
Keeping this very incident in mind, US based human rights organization Sikhs for Justice (SFJ) Attorney Gurpatwant Singh Pannun has stated this complaint against Bollywood superstar Amitabh Bachchan.
Many innocent Sikh children, women, homes even their gurdwaras were brutally attacked and they were left homeless and jobless. This complaint against Amitabh Bachchan has been lodged against been lodged under Australia’s “The Criminal Code Act 1995” which states that Australian courts can have jurisdiction against human right violation cases that occurin our outside Australia and this case is one of them even though the riots happened in India.
