Out of the limelight for a while (shooting for her upcoming film PK) Anushka Sharma made a surprise public appearance in London on September 15 to attend Burberry’s S/S 2015 London Fashion Week show at Kensington Gardens.

Sharma’s choice of front-row wardrobe: a deep navy side-slit dress from the label’s fall 2014 collection, draped with a patterned scarf and accessorized with pastel floral booties and Burberry’s forest green ‘Bloomsbury’ bag.
This season, Burberry took inspiration from the birds and the bees, incorporating multi-coloured trainers, sheer dresses and vividly printed trenches — all conveying an idealised British summer.

“I loved the way the entire show was conceptualised,” says Sharma, who sat front row alongside English model (and sister to Brit It-girl Cara Delevingne) Poppy Delevingne.
Lauren Santo Domingo (contributing editor at Vogue and the co-founder of online fashion retailer Moda Operandi) and English television presenter Cat Deeley. “The venue was beautiful and James Bay played lovely music,” the actor told Vogue.

“It’s difficult to select one look but what I really liked in this show were the hand printed trenches and the yellow dress. I loved the bags and the flats too. The styles and colours were amazing and because I love flats personally, these styles really excited me.”
