LABEL’s theme for the season was sportswear inspired street style. It blended Parisian styling & Indian textiles in a fashion that has become synonymous as the brands DNA.This pret collection plays with a palette of colorful and soft tones, creating a must have collection for next summer. Outfits included off-shoulder tunics, smart maxi dresses, printed skirts and playful dresses.
There were a lot of summer whites and pastels in the beginning of the line, culminating in a splash of tribal inspired prints to cap the show. Speaking about the inspiration behind the collection, Amrish Kumar, CEO, LABEL by Ritu Kumar said, “Today, fashion speaks about a certain individuality yet is incredibly connected with the network of people who wear it.
Hence, at this presentation of the AW’16 & SS’17 collection we have invited dynamic young online content creators and fashion influencers to experience the collection on the ramp.” Showstopper Kriti Sanon brought a vivacious energy to the ramp in a dress, which is the pick of the LABEL Autumn/ Winter ’16 collection.
