“This year our collaboration with French designer, Samy Chalon, got us thinking about merging the best of both our worlds in order to produce something original. We were interested in working on structure. In particular a structured look which, was moulded to a more Eastern silhouette. This led to a series of sharply tailored jackets, trousers and shirts, which is part of ‘The Indian Tuxedo’ range.” states Amrish Kumar, CEO, Ritu Kumar.

The collection comes with smart accents like satin lapels on the short blazers and jumpsuits, handcrafted buttons on the long jacket and satin side stripes on the trousers.

Solid ruffled shirts and printed pin-tuck shirts add a dose of colour to the tailored look and can also be teamed as separates.
