Shahrukh Khan’s Personal Life

The King of Bollywood Shahrukh Khan was born on 2nd of November 1965. He has been awarded with various nick names by the love dines to include, King Khan, SRK, Sharu and Badshah. Shahrukh Khan owns a decent; athletic figure with captivating looks has a height of 5’ 8”. Shahrukh Khan had a restaurant in Darya Ganj, New Delhi; however in the year 1989 Shahrukh Khan moved to Bombay, where the lady luck smiled at his feet and his marvelous acting career began. Shahrukh Khan has been married to Gauri Khan nee Chibba and has two children named Aryan and Suhana presently resident in Mumbai.

Shahrukh Khan’s Film Career

The acting career of Shahrukh Khan started in the year 1988 in a TV serial known as Fauji depicting the Indian army life. Shahrukh Khan later appeared in another serial called Circus in which projected the role circus performers in 1989. Shahrukh Khan also then played a part in another TV film written by Arundhati Roy. Shahrukh Khan was then picked up for his debut film known as Deewana in the year 1992, which proved it to be a hit. Shahrukh Khan was then earned an instantaneous fame and won the best Debut category award from the Film fare Awards, which was only the beginning for celebrity Shahrukh Khan as no one knew at that time, that this debut star would rise to the ultimate limits of the fame, dominating the magnanimous Indian film industry.

Then a stream of films followed on which includes Maya Memsaab, though it carried a degree of controversial scenes, then another two movies in the year 1993 followed, which were Darr and Baazigar in which Shahrukh action performed the role of an antagonist, though such performance was considered as risk by many top of the line actors of that time. The celebrity Shahrukh Khan won the best actor Film fare award for his negative role in the film Baazigar. Again celebrity Shahrukh Khan clutched another success by winning the Film fare critics award for his best performance of a young musician in the famous movie Kabhie Haan Kabhie Naan.

The year 1994 witnessed celebrity Shahrukh Khan again touching the heights of Glory by winning the best villain award for his outstanding performance in the movie Anjaam. In the year 1995 celebrity Shahrukh Khan witnessed Glorious success when his role as Raj in the mega blockbuster Dilwale Dulhanya Ley Jaingey which was appreciated whole heartedly by the masses, which gave him the ultimate recognition of an icon in the Indian film industry, and it is very pertinent to mention here that this movie ruled the Indian cinemas for more than a decade.

Then with a couple of years gap celebrity Shahrukh Khan again clutched the Film fare best actor award, by winning the hearts of masses with his magical performance in Dil to Pagal hei. In the year 1998 the movie Kuch Kuch Hota hei, became another source of Filmfare best actor award for celebrity Shahrukh Khan by accepting magnanimous audience response, followed by Mani Ratham’s movie Dil Se was acclaimed as well by massive audience.

With the start of the new century movies further enhanced the fame of the celebrity Shahrukh Khan, like Mohabbatein, fetched him Filmfare Critics Award. Other movies including Asoka, Kabhie Khushi Kabhie Gham, Devdas, kalho Ho na Ho,  Chalte Chalte, Main Hoon Na, Veer Zara, Swades, Paheli,Kabi Alvida na Kehna, my name is Khan, Iconic Saga Hit the Don one and Two, Om Shanti Om, Chak de India, Billo Barber, Raone, and many more to come, but the legend never slows down. Other claim to fame events of Shahrukh Khan include small screen anchor ship adventures, Kya Aap Paanchvi Pass se Tez Hain?, Kaun baney ga carore Pati etc

Other Achievements

Achievements of Shahrukh Khan other than the movies include creation of life size statues made of wax at Madame Tussaud’s Museum in London. Shahrukh Khan has also been honored with Order of the Arts and Literature award by the French government in recognition for his Glorious successes.

Shahrukh Khan quoted once “I’m the luckiest man in the world and I don’t want to hide from the faces I’m acting for. So I don’t surround myself with guards, I’ve never given an interview in which I’ve said I feel bad that I can’t go shopping or I can’t go to Chowpatty and eat bhelpuri without being mobbed. I’m not the kind of guy who goes out wearing dark glasses (I don’t think I’m a big enough star to hide behind them, honest). I go to see movies in the cinema theatres; I go to restaurants with my family and friends even though I know people are going to disturb me there.”
