After Shahrukh Khan, Salman Khan to Invest in IPL?

Salman Khan’s brother Sohail Khan already owns a cricket team Mumbai Heroes which plays in Celebrity Cricket League (CCL). And if media reports are to be believed then the Jai Ho actor might end up owning a stake in an Indian Premiere League (IPL) team. Shahrukh Khan and Salman KhanRecently, Sallu miyaan was spotted discussing IPL with Ness Wadia who co-owns the IPL team, Kings XI Punjab. This intense conversation took place when SK flagged off the Little Hearts Marathon in Mumbai. “ Salman Khan was the chief guest at this marathon that was organised by BJ Wadia hospital for underprivileged children. Post the flag off, Salman was seen talking to Ness. The two were discussing the IPL in great detail,” said a source to a leading tabloid.

We all know Salman shares a great rapport with B-town beauty Preity Zinta and Ness who co-own Kings XI Punjab team. So who knows the bhai of Bollywood may invest in their IPL team if not buy one, hai na? While talking to a tabloid, an onlooker from the event said, “There is no clear indication that he will pick up a stake in an IPL team his interest in it has only grown with time. He has been making enquiries with Ness. In fact, he has also been asking his other friends about the same.

The actor is trying to work out how he can get a piece of the IPL pie as he loves cricket and has a lot of cricketer friends.” We wonder if Sallu is following his arch rival Shahrukh Khan – the owner of IPL team Kolkata Knight Riders. Could be but then the Being Human has always been vocal about his love for cricket, no? Whether out of love or competition, we dunno, but if Salman enters the IPL then the game of cricket would get even more interesting. After all, Sallu-SRK battle will then continue on the field as well.Wink, wink!
