Directed by Vikramjit Singh, the film which opened in 2500 screens managed to rake in Rs.10.40 crore on Friday and further minted Rs.11.16 crore on Saturday. Trade Analyst Taran Adarsh took to Twitter to share the box office figures.
While critics have slammed the film for its befuddled plot, weekend opening coupled with Valentine’s Day has fuelled the ticket sales. The film is a love triangle revolving around the lives of a filmmaker, a thief and their mutual love interest. Roy also stars Ranbir Kapoor and Jacqueline Fernandez in lead roles.
