Bollywood’s Bengali beauty Tanushree Dutta turned 31 on Thursday. Dutta won the Femina Miss India Pageant held in 2003.

She was born on March 19, 1984 in Jamshedpur, Jharkhand in a conservative Bengali family. The model-turned-actress had appeared in Bollywood movies too.
Apart from modeling, Dutta made her successful entry in the Bollywood in 2005. She appeared in film ‘Chocolate’ and ‘Aashiq Banaya Apne’.
Aditya Datt’s film ‘Aashiq Banaya Apne’ and its hit music were a box office success and proved to be a perfect launch for Tanushree in Bollywood.

She made cameo appearance in the films ’36 China Town’ and ‘Bhagam Bhag’ in 2006.
Tanushree is the best known for her roles in films like ‘Good Boy’, ‘Bad Boy’, ‘Rokkk’, ‘Raqeeb’, ‘Dhol’ and ‘Speed’.
After the release of ‘Ramaa: The Saviour’ in November, 2010, she went on a self imposed sabbatical for two and a half years.

She also did a Indian pop music video, “Saiyan Dil Mein Aana Re” by Harry Anand. Though Tanushree herself is a competent singer, she has never used her vocal skills professionally.
