L Occitane Event in MumbaiL’OCCITANE India celebrated their 5th anniversary in India at an elegant cocktail evening. The evening was hosted by Mr. François Richier, Ambassador of France to India and L’Occitane India Country Head Mr. Gilles Moutounet along with Ms. Vidushi & Rima Mehra who introduced the guests at the event.

As a sensorial brand, L’OCCITANE invoked the 5 senses at this 5 year celebration – sense of smell with fragrance tests, sense of touch with Blind tasting, sense of sound with a jazz performance, sense of sight with the beautiful products on display. The guests had the chance to indulge in pampering treatments and discover all the amazing products whilst enjoying Champagne and canapés.

The brand made the event interactive by holding an auction that was won with a bid of Rs. 20,000 by the lovely Tanisha Mohan. The proceeds from the auction would be given to the National Association for the Blind, which has partnered with the brand. The guests were also engaged in a sensorial experience through Blind tasting, fragrance tests, hand massages and beauty experts were on hand to offer complimentary mini- treatments.

As a sensorial brand, L’OCCITANE choses to support the visually impaired by offering braille on most of its packaging.  To mark their 5th anniversary in India the brand associated with NAB (National Association for the Blind) and decided to contribute 10% of the sale proceeds for the evening to them.
