The Lakme Fashion Week Winter/Festive 2014 witnessed a stunning show by Neha Agarwal where the ravishing Esha Gupta was seen in a blazing avatar on ramp by wearing the latest collection ‘Mille Fleurs‘.
Hyderabad based Designer Neha Agarwal’s collection is a modern reinterpretation of seventeen century’s French embroidery. ‘Mille Fleurs – a thousand flowers is a celebration of magnificent miscellanea of seventeenth century’s regal petit point embroidery and well defined contemporary silhouettes.
The collection scrupulously defines the brand philosophy of urban styles, radiant hues and experiments with textiles and textures, yet opulent in ornamentation and appeal.
The design flow from figure flattering western twisters to enchanting indo-western fusion and creates the most idiosyncratic vision. The authentic Indian organic tussar, ahimsa, gicha and muga silk are presented with the unconventional quilting details creating a splendid evening essential. Western fusion is here to create the most idiosyncratic vision.
“It’s a tribute to today’s trend setting fashionista who are flamboyant and vibrant, but still carry the ethnic essence in her heart. Also it was really a pleasure being a part of this Lakme season as it was my first season. I couldn’t think of anyone else who could fit perfect for being my muse than ‘Esha Gupta’- says the young designer, Neha Agarwal”.
